These do the jobI was really surprised how well these boots held up for the price. I play a Petsmart Santa and I'm the type that spends most of my time on the floor trying to get pictures with the dogs. Which means I'm on my knees putting a lot of pressure on the toes of the boots. And I'm sitting on the floor which puts pressure on the sides and back of the boots. These made it through two days of agonizing wear. And they are still black with minimal scuffs. The soles are thin, which I wouldn't recommend a lot of walking around outside, but they worked. And they look a lot better than those pieces that fit over the shoes. I'll know how really good they work after a second season, but no complaints so far. Would defintely recommend.
